My name is Toleeda. I have been married to my best friend for 13 thrilling years. We have two wonderful children. Naiemah is my 15 year old daughter and she is the most beautiful young lady on earth! My stunning son's name is Derek, Jr. and he is such a sweet and handsome young man. My family means the world to me. I enjoy spending time with them, sharing, laughing, and loving. It has been such an intense journey for me with going back to school. I wear a number of "hats" and at times it can be overwhelming. Being active in my church and community, as well as, being a wife and involved mother it is a difficult challenge to strike a balance. Sometimes when I have homework to be done, I have to close the books, shut down the computer, step away and spend time with my family. Doing so helps me to unwind and refocus. After waiting 18 years to get back into the classroom, it has been very rewarding. Deciding to work towards obtaining a college degree has given me the opportunity to show another positive example to my children.

My Hobbies

I love to watch sports, especially basketball. I used to be "fit" enough to run up and down the court. Now I like to watch others play. I also enjoy being active at my church helping to encourage others.
